TOOLS: Flower Inspiration for Lamps

I've been working on some sketches for my lamp project and have been inspired by many images. Here are a few of my favorites:

This is a concept design for street lamps. It definitely has a softer feel and is more aesthetically pleasing. I'd like to see these around the city some time! I'd like to maybe try this for the bendy plywood lamp project -- smaller form of course.

This reminds me of the lamps found at Ikea, although they don't come flat packed, they are still very pretty to look at! The color and materials give the lamp a softer feel. Depending on the type of bulb used, it can give off very different ambiance. Possibly a paper lamp project concept... ?

This simple design is clean, sleek, and looks like it would be a perfect floor lamp. A miniature size for a table would also be very cute. I like the idea of using a fabric so that there isn't too much luminosity.

These two lamp shades can be used over a bulb or a candle. It's a simple shape and seems easy to reproduce. It can also come flat packed, so that's a plus! Another paper lamp idea... ?

I really enjoy the form of this lamp, although there are many pieces and it can become complicated to create. There are lots of different curves involved, but the way the light shines through the many layers is beautiful. Possible metal framework for metal lamp project.

Again, another simple and clean form, similar to the floor lamp. I really enjoy this one and it's soft glow. Possible idea to layer paper to create this effect with the paper lamp project.
