The senior product design class went on a fieldtrip to Modo in Beaverton, OR.
We learned a bit about the design process, research stages to create carts that work in the medical field. It was very interesting and eye opening.
Our final project for the term will be to create a cart on casters (a set of 4 or 5) that will accommodate a tablet. This is going to be the new trend in keeping track of medical records, appointments, etc. and will be very useful.
20 prototypes are due on Tuesday, showing the different variations of support structures, movement, etc.
