TC1000: Building Prototype

Plan B

We took what we learned from the first prototype and made some revisions to Prototype Plan B.

The base was created to be more symmetrical and "bubbly". We also made each foot wider and rounder. From there we stacked foam blocks and started to carve away.

Our form was a little narrower than we liked, so we moved some blocks around and came up with a form that flowed better - happy accident!

We're going back elementary - foam, paper mache, plaster cloth... but this all speaks to our audience - kids.

It's been a fun process, and we've learned a lot from our mistakes. It's all helped us get to where we are now.

Now that the form is in physical reality, I'm even more excited to see the final product. Stay tuned! It's all coming together REALLY soon.
